Architecture vs Typography

Spatial Design

Diploma Project, University of Arts in Poznań

Architectural design inspired by typography, paper and print. The project is an adaptation of an old warehouse building in Poland and it shows the transfer of typographical thinking to architecture and interior design. Thinking through the prism of typography has led to all the key decisions of composition, spatial design and material choice in this project. Three of four floors were adapted for a restaurant that promotes the philosophy of slow food, a showroom for the company G.F. Smith and the temporary exclusive hotel. See project’s branding design here.
